Kumiko Helming owns and operates MBS, LLC, a safety consultancy where she specializes in, training management systems, safety program design, and Remote Utilities. She has been in the occupational safety and health (OSH) industry for seven years, offering fresh perspective and safety expertise to projects, programs, and clients. In 2021, Kumiko obtained her Associates of Applied Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health, followed by her Bachelor’s Degree and Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) designation in 2023. Kumiko is also a Certified Compliance Specialist from CSU. She also manages multiple local government contracts, leveraging her cheerful and approachable personality to foster strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service. Known for her creativity in employee engagement, Kumiko brings infectious energy to her work, involving clients and teams alike in a dynamic approach to safety consulting. Within her community, Kumiko is an active volunteer with the Anchorage School District (ASD), where she advocates for workplace safety and entrepreneurship among Alaskan youth.
